Area of business
Chan Kwong Kee was originally established in 1907 as an analyst in the gold industry of Hong Kong. The company’s breakthrough came with the new management of the third generation of the CHAN family in the 1980s. With our headquarters based in Hong Kong, we act as buying agents as well as an import and export firm, having served the jewelry industry for more than a century. Through our branches in Panyu, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam as well as specially selected networks of representatives and wholesalers, Chan Kwong Kee is able to distribute its products throughout the world. We wholesale more than 6,000 items used for, among many other purposes, gem testing, chain making, electroplating polishing, cutting, soldering, stamping, engraving, refining, measuring, stone setting, cleaning, wax carving, casting, melting, packaging and window displays Now with the participation of the fourth generation, our business has diversified into the jewelry retailing sector. Presently, we have 3 jewelry specialty stores and serveral sales outlets in the Philippines, expanding the sales of ‘Lowanna’ jewelry – a famous Australian brand. Together with a total of 150 employees in Asia we would like to celebrate with you our 111th anniversary with a toast to even greater success together in the future.
